World Map

The Realm Striders live world map runs in your browser at map.realmstridermc.com. It is powered by Pl3xMap with custom Realm Striders branding.

Live on Realm Striders MC

The branded map UI is active on production. Screenshots for this page will be added later.

Open the map

https://map.realmstridermc.com

The map opens on the Overworld with the vintage_story renderer by default. If you visit without query parameters, the page fills them in automatically so you see terrain instead of a blank black canvas.

Header and Community menu

The top bar shows Realm Striders branding. Use the Community dropdown to jump to:

Coordinates bar

A pill-shaped bar at the top center of the map shows block coordinates (X, Z, Y) for the point under your pointer.

Device How to see coords
Desktop / laptop Move your mouse over the map
Phone / tablet Touch the map; the label reads Touch map for coords until you tap. After you lift your finger, the last coordinates stay visible

Screenshots coming soon

A screenshot of the coordinates bar on desktop and mobile will be added in a future wiki update.

The bottom bar shows live server stats (refreshed about every 30 seconds):

Stat Meaning
Players online Current players on Realm Striders MC
Community explorers Unique players who have joined the server
Blocks mined Total blocks broken (community-wide)
Diamonds found Total diamond ore mined (community-wide)

A tournament row links to Gamer Guardian. In-world tournament integration is planned for a future release.

Pl3xMap controls (unchanged)

These are the standard Pl3xMap panels — they were not moved into the stats footer:

Location Control
Bottom left Block info — biome, block type, and height at the cursor
Bottom right Share link — copy a URL to the current map view
Sidebar Layers, worlds, renderers, and player markers

Use the sidebar buttons on the top-right of the map (Worlds, Layers, Players). The panel opens as a compact floating card with rounded corners — the map does not slide sideways. Click outside the panel or the same tab again to close it.

Switching renderers and layers

Open Worlds to pick vintage_story vs biomes. Open Layers to toggle Spawn, Players, and World Border markers.

Mobile and touch

On phones and narrow browser windows:

  • Pan hint — the first time you visit in a browser session, you may see Drag to move the map. Tap dismiss or wait for it to fade. It only shows once per session.
  • Coordinates — use touch as described above; desktop mouse hover does not apply on touch-only devices.
  • Sidebar — same compact floating panel as desktop; tap outside to close.
