Accessories and Resource Pack
Realm Striders uses CuriosPaper for accessory slots and ProbablyBackpacks for tiered backpacks. Both plugins rely on a custom resource pack for 3D models and textures.
Resource pack
CuriosPaper automatically builds and serves a resource pack when you join:

When prompted, click Yes or Download to apply the pack. Backpacks and accessory slot icons use custom models; without the pack they may appear as vanilla items (for example a carrot on a stick).
If the pack fails:
- Disconnect and reconnect
- Check that your firewall allows downloads from the server IP
- Ask staff to run

Accessory slots
CuriosPaper adds extra equipment slots beyond vanilla armor:

Equipping a backpack
- Craft a Leather Backpack (or loot one from mobs)
- Run
/baubles - Place the backpack in the Back slot
You can swap between a backpack and elytra in the same Back slot — both are allowed on this server.
Opening your backpack
With a backpack equipped in the Back slot:
- Double-sneak with hotbar slot 9 selected
No command is required for normal use.
Dyeing leather backpacks
Inside the backpack GUI:
- Drop any dye on the dye button to color the backpack
- Use a water bucket on the dye button to remove color
- The 3D model on your back updates in real time
