CuriosPaper
Adds /baubles accessory inventory, resource pack for 3D models, and hotkey access. Backpacks equip in the Back slot.
See Accessories and Resource Pack.
ProbablyBackpacks
Six backpack tiers (Leather → Netherite), upgrade slots, mob drops, and dyeing. Server-specific recipe and upgrade rules are documented under Backpacks.
Pl3xMap
Explore the live world in your browser:
https://map.realmstridermc.com
Default view: ?world=world&renderer=vintage_story
The map uses custom Realm Striders branding:
- Header with Community links (lore site, Gamer Guardian, wiki)
- Coordinates bar at the top center (mouse on desktop, touch on mobile)
- Footer stats — players online, explorers, blocks mined, diamonds found
- Mobile-friendly sidebar and a one-time “drag to move the map” hint
See the full player guide: World Map.
QuizRace
Staff-run multiple-choice quiz events. Players answer in chat during an open question. See Quiz Race.
Timberella
Chop down an entire tree by breaking one log with an axe. Leaves decay and saplings may replant automatically depending on server settings. No commands are required for normal use — just use your axe on tree logs.
Veinminer
Break a connected ore vein while sneaking with a pickaxe that has the Veinmine enchant. The enchant is obtained only through a two-step smithing recipe (Netherite Ingot + Book, then Diamond Pickaxe + Tome). See Veinminer for a screenshot walkthrough.
RealmStriders Veinminer Gate blocks Veinmine from the enchanting table and villager trades — only the smithing recipe works.
Field Rations
Brew travel foods in a brewing stand with a Thick Potion plus a normal food ingredient. Seven rations grant short exploration buffs (Slow Falling, Night Vision, water breathing, and more). They look like vanilla food with an enchantment glint — no resource pack required.
Scout's Root counters Warden Darkness in the deep dark and partially resists offensive Darkness Potions.
Full recipes and special items (Stepfruit, Highstep): Field Rations.
Darkness Potions
Brew Warden Darkness from awkward potion + sculk catalyst, then upgrade to splash, lingering, and Arrow of Darkness. This is a vision debuff only — not Blindness.
If the target has Scout's Root active, offensive Darkness lasts ~2 seconds instead of ~5.
Full brewing chain and PvP notes: Darkness Potions.
Fletching Table
Right-click a placed fletching table to open a three-tab workstation: Craft (flint batch bonus and metal-tier arrows with separate modest PvP and stronger PvE damage bonuses), Tip (apply potions to arrows in any of three input slots; splash/drinkable potions use dragon breath stored per table block), and Dye (colored flight trails + glint). Click the output slot to craft and take results. Dragon breath deposits immediately when placed on the Tip tab; charges persist in breath-charges.yml on the server.
Full guide: Fletching Table.
Mod Scarecrow
Craft with any mob head (top), iron + fence or end rod + iron (middle), and any full block (bottom — not slabs). Place on solid ground to deploy a three-block scarecrow that blocks spawns and repels installed mob types inside a spherical radius.
- Right-click — open six-slot head GUI (or hold upgrade ore to expand radius)
- Left-click (empty hand) — toggle ward boundary particles for you
- Sneak + right-click (empty hand) — pick up (owner only; ops can take others' with
realmstriders.creeperward.others) - Upgrade radius with copper → netherite ingots (16–64 blocks)
Uses the crafted mob head as the held item icon with an enchantment glint — no resource pack required. Full guide: Strider Scarecrow.
Planned (not installed)
These are configured in the project for future Heptera releases but are not on the live server:
| Plugin | Purpose |
|---|---|
| RealmStriders Player Deaths | /playerdeaths for mods (CoreProtect coordinates) |
| HepteraCore | Zones, combat flags, seasons, tournament bridge |
| WorldGuard | Region protection |
| WorldEdit | Staff world editing |
| GriefPrevention | Player land claims |
Do not expect /flag, /claim, or zone mechanics until HepteraCore ships.
Quick verification (in-game)
If you want to confirm everything works after a server update:
- Stride Loaf — thick potion + bread → bread with glint, Slow Falling when eaten
- Scout's Root — thick potion + golden carrot → Night Vision + Glowing
- Darkness chain — awkward + sculk catalyst → gunpowder → dragon breath → arrows
- Scout vs Darkness — with Scout's Root active, Arrow of Darkness should apply ~2s Darkness instead of ~5s
- World map — open map.realmstridermc.com on a phone; touch the map for coords and open the layers sidebar
- Strider Scarecrow — craft with oak planks + oak fence + creeper head (or
/creeperscarecrow base zombie_head), place, open GUI and add a skeleton skull, sneak-pickup (item keeps zombie ward only; skeleton drops separately)
